Medication

We require all medication to be checked in at arrival to the designated 'first aid' leader. Young people will collect medication as needed from this leader throughout the camp.

Whilst on Arise Camp, photos and videos will be taken by leaders to capture activities. These photos may be used in displays, on the church website, on social media profiles or printed for church use. All published media will respect the privacy of people who attend our programs. Please speak with Ben Wilson if you have any further questions about our Arise camp photography policy.

I, as the parent or legal guardian of the young person above, verify that all information provided is correct to the best of my understanding.
 

PERMISSIONS
I give my child permission to attend the ARISE 2026 Camp and understand that while all duty of care will be taken by leaders to ensure my child's safety, I waive liability, claims or possible expenses arising out of or in connection with the activities of youth camp. Leaders will not accept responsibility for injury or misadventure over the weekend.

I give permission for my child to be driven by bus to and from Parramatta Baptist Church.

INJURY
In the event of accident or injury, I give permission for suitably trained leaders and campsite staff to administer first aid if required and understand that I will be notified as soon as possible after the event. I further authorise the use of ambulance and/or anaesthetic by a qualified medical practitioner if in his/her judgement it is necessary. I accept responsibility for payment of all expenses associated with such treatment.

CAMP RULES
Finally, I acknowledge that my child will (to the best of their ability) adhere to the rules outlined by the campsite and Arise youth that are designed to promote safety for fall. If my child doesn't follow these rules or guidelines, I will come and pick up my child from the campsite at the request of an Arise leader. (please note camp rules will be communicated closer to camp)
